Information You Submit
Names, phone numbers, or addresses entered in a search form go to the outside provider that supplies sponsored results. We do not save a separate copy of those searches on our servers. A message sent to us contains only what the sender chooses to provide, and we use it to answer that message.
Information Collected Automatically
Our hosting systems create standard logs that may include an IP address, browser type, visited pages, and timestamps. Aggregate log data helps diagnose errors and show which resources visitors use. Cookies or similar tools may support basic analytics and advertising measurement when applicable.
How Information Is Used
Available data supports site operation, troubleshooting, traffic measurement, and page improvements. We do not sell visitor lists or assemble profiles of individual users.
Privacy on Linked Services
Links may lead to city, county, state, court, library, archive, or third-party search services. Information submitted after leaving Mountain House People Search is controlled by the destination's policy. The same is true for sponsored results supplied by an outside company.
Parties That May Process Data
Hosting and support vendors process server logs for us. Analytics or advertising providers may receive the automatically collected information described above. We may also disclose information when valid legal process requires it. Visitor data is not otherwise shared by us.
Safeguarding Information
An encrypted connection serves the site, and logs are kept only as long as needed for the stated purposes. Since there are no user accounts, Mountain House People Search holds no visitor passwords or account profiles.
Visitors Under 18
This service is meant for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect a minor's personal information. Contact us if someone under 18 submitted such information so it can be removed.
Your California Privacy Rights
The California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, can provide rights to know, delete, correct, and opt out of the sale or sharing of covered personal information, as well as to limit certain uses of sensitive information. Because we retain little visitor data, a request will usually concern contact mail or server logs. Use the Contact page to submit it. Publicly available government records are excluded from the CCPA definition of personal information, and records held by Mountain House, San Joaquin County, or California remain under the custodian's control.
Changes to This Policy
Any revised policy will appear here. Using the site after a revision is posted indicates acceptance of the updated terms.
